How You Can Support the 2007 Canoe Journey

The Paddle to Lummi would not be possible without your participation and contributions. Join the many canoe families as we mark this historic event at Lummi.

You can support the Canoe Journey 2007 through:
-Individual Donations
-Official Sponsorship
-Volunteering

Some members of the wider Whatcom County community have formed the "Paddle to Lummi Community Connections Committee" (or PLCCC). Find out how to help through the PLCCC.

THERE IS STILL TIME TO VOLUNTEER OR DONATE!

There are MANY opportunities to volunteer during the Canoe Journey.  Here are several ways to do that.

Go to www.paddletolummi.com and click on “Volunteer” on the menu.  Go to the volunteer website and see if there are any jobs you’d like to sign up for there. Before July 30 call Julie Torres M-F (10 am -5:00 pm) 384-2313 to sign up.  Please give your full name, telephone number and email address. Every Day of Event:: Go to Stommish Hall and see what volunteer postions are open and signup.  Note that check in for all volunteers will be in Stommish Hall.

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION, Saturday, July 28
Come to the “One and Only” Volunteer Orientation, Saturday July 28 from noon (lunch) - 4:00 pm in the Wexlium Community Building where you can sign up for vacant spots and receive training on the same day. You will learn where to park, where to sign in, get tours of the kitchen and grounds.  SHOW UP FOR THIS.
