Celebrate the Paddle to Lummi with this special commemorative blanket, designed by tribal artist
W’en’anua Al Charles Jr., titled: “Xwialken etse Tl’aneq,” (Lummi for the “return of the potlatch”). Exclusively woven by Pendleton Woolen Mills of Portland, Oregon, this canoe journey first is crafted of 100 percent virgin wool with cotton wrap and measures 64 X 80 inches. The blanket is being produced for delivery in September 2007. This unique blanket is a limited run which will be available for a short period of time. The proceeds from the blanket will establish the Tl’aneq Fund which will benefit future potlatch celebrations and canoe journey activities.
